Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Executive

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Executive to join our team. As an HR Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources department.
  2. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, recruiting and onboarding new employees, managing employee relations, and supporting the overall HR strategy.
  3. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
  3. Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation, paperwork, and training
  4. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
  5. Administer employee benefits programs and handle employee inquiries related to benefits
  6. Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
  7. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  8. Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and company culture-building activities
  9. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  10. Assist in HR reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  2. Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role
  3. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  4. Experience in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
  5. Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software systems
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  7. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  9. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
