Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Data Analyst
Location: Gboko, Benue

Job Summary

Collecting, compiling, and analysing HR data, metrics, statistics, and applying this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, staff retention, staff turnover and legal compliance.

Job  Responsibilities

  1. Execute a wide range of specific Human Resources functions correlated to recruitment, selections, employment processing, documentation and onboarding in collaboration with the leadership team.
  2. Utilise strong analytical and leadership skills to coordinate, facilitate, and implement processes relating to recruitment, classification, employee records, and required human resources reporting.
  3. Gather and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including the Human Resources information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labour statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  4. Analyse data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  5. Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  6. Identify and recommend reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.

  8. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.  Ensure system data integrity and accuracy, conduct regularly scheduled reviews and audits of information input/reports to validate and/or reconcile data.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Degree / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or any related field.
  2. Any relevant certification is an added advantage.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the human resources field.
