Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our growing team.
- This role is vital to aligning human resource strategies with organizational goals, fostering a productive and engaged workforce, and ensuring the seamless delivery of HR operations.
- The successful candidate will lead HR initiatives, including policy development, talent management, performance improvement, and compliance, all while upholding Noreta’s mission of delivering excellence in construction and building exceptional homes.
Job Responsibilities
Developing HR Strategies, Policies, and Procedures:
- Create and implement HR strategies, policies, and best practices aligned with the company’s overall goals and legal requirements.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent in the construction industry.
- Develop strategies to build a strong employer brand.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems, including evaluations, improvement plans, and feedback mechanisms to foster a high-performance culture.
Employee Welfare and Relations
- Promote employee engagement by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Lead initiatives that prioritize employee satisfaction and retention.
Training and Development:
- Identify employee training needs and oversee the design and delivery of relevant development programs to enhance skills and competencies.
Compensation and Benefits Management:
- Manage payroll processes, benefits administration, and ensure equitable compensation practices in compliance with organizational standards and labor laws.
HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Nigeria’s labor laws and construction industry standards, including employee record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR operations.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with operational needs.

Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar HR leadership role, preferably in the construction or related industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
