Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated in December 2009 with the business objective of providing financial service to micro clients who were excluded from the mainstream financial system. It commenced operations in June 2010 upon obtaining a Unit Microfinance Banking License from the Central Bank of Nigeria. It later obtained a State Microfinance Banking License in 2016. Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited’s financial inclusion effort focuses on promoting savings culture, access to credit facilities for income-generation purposes, and reducing vulnerability to risk through microinsurance.

Job Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team.
  2. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and managing all aspects of our HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, procurement, and compliance.
  3. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and selection.
  2. Payroll administration
  3. Ensuring the organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations
  4. Manage employee compensation and benefits programs
  5. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  6. Handle employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  7. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  8. Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve employee performance.
  9. Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  10. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  11. Coordinating Training & Development

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience using Human Resources Management Systems
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient use of the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
