Job Position: Human Resources (HR) Manager

Job Description

  1. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives.
  2. They will maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  2. Support business needs through the development, engagement, performance monitoring, motivation and preservation of human capital
  3. Provide support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  4. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  5. Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  6. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  7. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  8. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ year of experience
  • Proven experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with G-suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems/software
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Capability in creating a healthy work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion and collaboration among employees
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
  • Superior attention to detail.
