Job Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic loan company.

The successful candidate will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
  2. Oversee the full recruitment cycle — from job posting and candidate screening to onboarding and retention.
  3. Manage performance appraisal systems to drive a high-performance culture.
  4. Provide support and guidance to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory standards, and internal HR policies.
  6. Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures fairly and professionally.
  7. Coordinate compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
  8. Identify training needs and oversee employee development programs.
  9. Maintain accurate HR records, data, and reports for management use.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. B.Sc./HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  2. Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity (preferably in the financial services or loan industry).
  4. Strong understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
  7. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Salary
N800,000 Monthly.
