Job Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  1. You will play a crucial role in recruiting, supporting, and developing talent, as well as ensuring smooth administrative operations within the company.
  2. Your contributions will help create a positive work environment and drive the company’s success.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the end-to-end staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  2. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  3. Develop training materials and performance management programs to enhance employee understanding of job responsibilities.
  4. Create and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys.
  5. Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
  6. Provide guidance and feedback to teams using performance management tools.
  7. Consistently apply company HR policies.
  8. Maintain organization charts and employee directory.
  9. Collaborate with management to align strategic HR goals with business initiatives.
  10. Manage HR systems and processes.
  11. Conduct performance and salary reviews.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of human resource management experience preferred.
  3. CIPM certification is an added advantage.

Requirements / Skills:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  5. Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  6. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  8. Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
