Job Description
- The HR Manager at RITA Africa will play a crucial role in shaping our growing organization.
- You will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR strategy.
- You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure we attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusion.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and local labor laws.
- Oversee employee relations, providing guidance and support to resolve workplace issues.
- Manage performance evaluation systems, including setting objectives, conducting reviews, and creating development plans.
- Implement effective training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Drive initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with our core values and mission.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations across the countries we operate in.
- Maintain employee records and manage HR databases for accurate and efficient information management.
- Lead HR projects such as employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and payroll management in collaboration with finance teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Proficiency in using HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar tools).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
