Job Position: Human Resources Officer
Location: Agidingbi, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes (job postings, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding).
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, payroll inputs, and leave management.
- Help implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws and company standards.
- Provide support in performance management activities, including appraisals and feedback processes.
- Address routine employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in organising training sessions, employee engagement activities, and other HR-related events.
- Prepare HR-related reports as required (headcount, turnover, leave summaries, etc.).
- Support disciplinary and grievance processes under supervision.
- Perform other HR administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in HR.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour law (or relevant local labour laws).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
