Job Description
- The Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.
- The HR Officer plays a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Post job openings, screen applications, and conduct interviews.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate disputes and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
- Support employee development plans and succession planning.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
- Coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and comply with legal requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide information to employees regarding benefits and payroll inquiries.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee satisfaction).
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Health and Safety:
- Promote workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of previous experience in HR or related roles is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
