Job Position: Human Resources Officer
Location: Ibafo / Mowe, Ogun

Job Description

  1. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees
  2. Prepare employment letters, contracts, and other HR-related documentation
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  4. Track attendance, leave, and performance appraisal schedules
  5. Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  6. Organize and coordinate staff training, development programs, and wellness activities
  7. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  8. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  9. Manage office supplies and ensure timely replenishment of materials and equipment
  10. Maintain filing systems for both HR and administrative documents (digital and physical)
  11. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required
  12. Coordinate logistics for office maintenance, facility services, and vendor management
  13. Assist in planning and executing company events, staff engagements, and meetings
  14. Monitor renewal schedules for service contracts, subscriptions, and licenses
  15. Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager and other departments
  16. Contribute to fostering a professional, efficient, and compliant work environment
  17. Perform other related duties as assigned by HR or management.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. 3 – 5 years of experience in HR, administration, or office management (internship experience may be considered)
  3. Strong understanding of HR principles, labour laws, and office procedures
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  5. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  6. Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  7. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  8. High attention to detail and accuracy
  9. Positive attitude and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  11. Knowledge of HR software or tools is an added advantage.
