Job Position: Secretary / Admin and Human Resources Personnel

Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Secretary / Human Resource Officer to support our day-to-day operations. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone who can manage administrative tasks and oversee basic HR functions in a small business setting.

Job Responsibilities
Administrative & Secretarial Duties:

  1. Manage office correspondence, calls, and visitor inquiries.
  2. Schedule meetings and maintain management calendars.
  3. Prepare letters, reports, memos, and other documents.
  4. Organise and maintain filing systems (physical and digital).
  5. Track office supplies and support general office logistics.

Human Resource Functions:

  1. Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and documentation.
  2. Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR files.
  3. Monitor staff attendance and leave records.
  4. Assist in payroll preparation and timesheet management.
  5. Support staff performance tracking and basic conflict resolution.
  6. Help enforce company policies and improve workplace discipline.

Requirements

  1. OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree in Business Admin, HR, or related fields
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Must be organised, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  6. Knowledge of basic HR practices and Nigerian labour regulations is a plus.
  7. Candidate must reside in or around Sango-Ota, Ogun State. Candidates near Sango Ota shall be considered.
