Newedge is a financial institution established in 2019 and licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to operate as a Finance Company in Nigeria. Newedge provide Loans, Investment and Financial Advisory solutions to clients across the private and public sectors of the economy.

Job Position: Human Resources Specialist

Job Location: Ogba, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Updating employee records
  2. Overseeing employee relations
  3. Advising line managers and departmental managers of employment law
  4. Collaborating with other HR professionals/HR Officers
  5. Performance management
  6. Initiating disciplinary procedures
  7. Continued further training in HR
  8. Preparing job descriptions, publishing job adverts
  9. HR strategy and business management
  10. Determining staff training needs
  11. Ensuring legal compliance and health and safety
  12. Enforcing company policies and procedures
  13. Onboarding new starters/new staff inductions

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s with 3+ years of experience in relevant roles ideally in a fast-paced, hyper-growth global tech environment.
  2. Degree in Human resources or any related course
  3. Good communication skill
  4. knowledge of country employment-related laws and statutory requirements, compliance, and policies.
  5. Prior experience in compensation & benefits and rewards management.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
