Job Position: I.T Specialist
Location: Abuja

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for maintaining telecommunication and web systems
  2. Support of legacy desktops, laptops and servers
  3. Evaluate new hardware and software to meet company requirements
  4. Maintain inventory of internal licenses and track compliance
  5. Design and generate reports as requested
  6. Provide technical advice and assistance to office staff as needed
  7. Monitor or optimise the performance, security, backup, and recovery of the database
  8. Develop policies and procedures concerning the database: data entry and sharing information with others
  9. Use available technology to promote the website and gather statistical information for analysis
  10. Plan, develop, and manage all IT services, programs, and support throughout the enterprise

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field with at least 2 years of practical experience in database administration, development, and web design.
  2. A technical degree in information science, CS, or equivalent skill gained through experience, coupled with 2+ years of experience in systems (hardware and software) support
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  5. Ability to work occasional off-hours duty to permit timely attention to mission-critical functions
  6. Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  7. Strong organisational and time management skills
  8. Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative and multitask.
