Job Description

  1. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified ICT Teacher to join our dedicated team.
  2. You will play a pivotal role in igniting a passion for technology in our students and preparing them for the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons aligned with the Nigerian and British Curriculum, promoting responsible digital citizenship.
  2. Integrate technology seamlessly across various subject areas to enhance the learning experience.
  3. Equip students with essential skills in coding, programming, data analysis, and digital creativity tools.
  4. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through technology-based projects.
  5. Offer guidance on cyber safety and responsible online behavior.
  6. Maintain and troubleshoot ICT equipment in the classroom.
  7. Stay current with emerging technologies and curriculum developments in ICT.
  8. Contribute to the development of a dynamic and engaging ICT curriculum.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues across different subject areas to leverage technology for cross-curricular learning.

Job Requirements

  1. Holds a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Nigerian Certificate in Education – NCE or Bachelor of Education – B.Ed) specialising in ICT or Computer Science.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching ICT in a secondary school setting.
  3. Strong understanding of current ICT trends, software applications, and hardware.
  4. Ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  6. Passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of technology.
  7. Commitment to promoting responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and integrate technology across various subject areas.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 per month.
