Job Title: Inbound Call Centre Operator
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are looking for a professional and customer-oriented inbound call center operator with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing microfinance team in Nigeria.
- The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, the ability to handle a high volume of calls, and preferably hands-on experience with inbound calls in debt collection or loan servicing.
- This role is critical to ensuring excellent customer service, efficient handling of inquiries, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from customers regarding loans, repayments, account status, and general inquiries
- Provide accurate information about products, payment options, and policies
- Support customers with payment-related issues and assist in resolving problems
- Communicate with customers professionally and empathetically, especially in sensitive financial situations
- Document all calls and accurately update information in CRM systems
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call quality, response time, and resolution rates
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a call centre operator (inbound calls required)
- Experience in debt collection, loan servicing, or financial services support is preferred
- Excellent spoken English skills (knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM systems or call centre software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in microfinance, lending, fintech, or banking is highly desirable
- Knowledge of debt collection regulations and customer service standards
- Experience working in high-volume call environments with structured KPIs
What You Will Do:
- Handle inbound calls related to loans, repayments, and account support
- Provide accurate information and efficiently resolve customer inquiries
- Assist customers in identifying payment solutions and next steps
- Maintain detailed call documentation in CRM systems
- Achieve KPIs and call quality standards
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of inbound call centre experience (required)
- Experience in debt collection or loan servicing (a strong advantage)
- Excellent English proficiency; local languages are a plus
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
