Job Position: Information Technology Support Officer
Location: Jibowu, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support of Enterprise Applications and attend to user IT needs.
  2. Manage the day–to–day running of the ICT infrastructure in subsidiary locations.
  3. Engage in troubleshooting of systems.
  4. Installs and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  5. E-mail support and management – (with Microsoft Outlook).
  6. Local Area Network (LAN) / WAN troubleshooting.
  7. Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  8. Create and manage websites using WordPress, Joomla or any other CMS.
  9. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
  10. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  11. Gather and refine system specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  12. Create and maintain software documentation
  13. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our websites, blogs and social media handles.
  14. Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
  15. Create branded documents, logos, ID Cards, and Signage using CorelDRAW or Adobe Photoshop.
  16. Cooperate with Vendors and designers to match visual design intent.
  17. Regular update of various social media platforms with approved content.

Requirements

  1. B.Sc. / HND / OND, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
  2. At least 3 years of experience in IT Application and Infrastructure Support
  3. Professional certifications in the following areas: ITIL, Full Stack Developer or any other relevant ICT certification will be added advantage.
  4. Proven working experience in web programming
  5. Good graphic design skills
  6. Experience in Windows Operating systems and system troubleshooting.
  7. Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, WordPress and Joomla will be preferred.
  8. Familiarity with CPanel.
  9. Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails will be an added advantage.
  10. A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices.
  11. Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming and web application development
  12. Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics and troubleshooting tools.
  13. Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimisation process
  14. Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  15. Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets, with business acumen
  16. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies.
  17. Good interpersonal relationships.
  18. Very good at the use of MS Office suites.

Salary
N150,000 – N220,000 / month
