Job Description

  1. We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for enthusiastic individuals passionate about climate change and sustainable development.
  2. The Climate Action Intern will assist in various projects and activities designed to promote environmental stewardship and climate action initiatives.
  3. This position offers hands-on experience that is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable insights and contribute to meaningful projects within an impactful organisation.

Job Responsibilities
Research Support:

  1. Assist in researching climate change, sustainable practices, and policy developments.
  2. Help compile and analyse data, prepare reports, and contribute to creating informational materials and publications.

Project Assistance:

  1. Support the planning and execution of projects and initiatives.
  2. Participate in meetings and workshops, taking notes and helping to organise follow-up actions.

Communication and Outreach:

  • Assist in organising and managing events, including logistics, registrations, and material preparation.

Administrative Support:

  1. Perform administrative duties as needed, including but not limited to document management and correspondence.
  2. Support the team in day-to-day operational tasks and project delivery.

Learning Opportunities:

  1. Gain a thorough understanding of environmental issues and climate action strategies.
  2. Develop research, project management, and communication skills.
  3. Build relationships within a network of climate action professionals and like-minded organisations.

Job Requirements

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a University program in Environmental Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
  2. Strong interest in climate change, sustainability, and environmental issues.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of managing social media platforms.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Organised and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
