Job Position: Trainee – Application Lab

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The purpose of this intern is to support Application Managers in daily making prototypes of applications and products for the customers and in execution of the Brief.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Update a database that can be used to organize the available stock of raw materials available (~2000 items) to the application laboratory.
  2. Make up prototypes following the formulations given.
  3. Update physical raw materials sample according to database.
  4. Carry out sensory or tasting preparation.
  5. Participate in tasting sessions with ACMs and Application manager to understand the dynamics of flavor application.
  6. Work with or liaise with the Application manager and Technician in the execution of the customer briefs daily.

At the end of the internship, the intern will

  1. Gain ample opportunity in learning about flavor business, its products, technologies and history
  2. Be comfortable with interaction with stakeholders in other departments (eg analytical, application, marketing, quality assurance, sensory evaluation & sales)
  3. The students will have acquired practical hands on experience in application development, sensory evaluation.

Job Requirements

  1. Must have finished ND2 from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba (had an agreement with Yaba)
  2. The person must be open to work for one year.
  3. Must be of good behaviour and character
  4. A Team player and hardworking
