Job Position: Intern
Job Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of various construction projects, including hotel buildings, renovations, and maintenance works.
- Participate in site inspections, monitoring, and quality control of ongoing construction activities.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and ensuring timely delivery to projects.
- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to develop project blueprints and technical documents.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of gypsum board ceilings for residential and commercial properties.
- Gain hands-on experience in project management, cost estimation, and scheduling.
- Participate in team meetings and project briefings to learn about the entire construction process.
- Learn and contribute to construction safety practices on site.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, OR a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be based in Abuja or willing to relocate.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is an advantage but not required.
- Proficiency in basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is a plus, but not mandatory.
