Job Position: Intern Quantity Surveyor (QS) – NYSC
Job Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos
Job Description
- Assist in reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Assist in reviewing and monitoring material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with supervisor, site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Assist with preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and other documents.
- Contributing data-driven improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Transversing the Company’s various project sites as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Currently undergoing the NYSC program
- Yet to secure a primary assignment
- Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Great networking abilities
- Interest in the Real estate development industry and willingness to learn
- Must reside in Lekki / Ajah and its Environs
- Must be willing to resume IMMEDIATELY
