Job Position: Internal Auditor
Location: Opebi, Ikeja – Lagos
Job Summary
We are currently sourcing for Internal Auditors to work at a Quick Service Restaurant in Ikeja, Lagos.
The Internal Auditors will be responsible for safeguarding company assets by ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out regular audits on operations processes to ensure compliance with internal processes and standards.
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal control processes.
- Maintain customer and employee confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Assist in preparing the monthly schedule for account preparation
- Appraise and evaluate the company’s real assets and equipment, recording information such as the property’s description and depreciation rate
- Survey operations to ascertain internal control needs and recommend and maintain solutions to the business issues
- Keeps up-to-date on audit procedures and regulations by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education seminars.
- Analyses audit results to determine methods for increasing profits and decreasing unnecessary costs.
- Prepares reports and preserves documentation about audits for internal record
Qualification
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or any related discipline
- 1 – 2 years’ post-NYSC Experience working as an Internal Auditor
- Student membership of CITN/ ICAN/ACCA will be an advantage
- Practical knowledge with accounting tools and software, including Excel
- Candidates must live close to the work location.
Benefits
Salary: N130,000 – N150,000 monthly + Pension, Health Insurance, etc.
