Job Position: IT Executive
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description

The IT Executive will be responsible for overseeing the company’s entire information technology function, including the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring data security and system integrity, managing IT infrastructure, networks, and software applications, and leading the IT team to deliver efficient support services.

The role also involves evaluating and adopting new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring compliance with relevant IT policies and regulations, managing vendor relationships, and providing technical guidance to support overall organisational productivity and growth.

Educational Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Professional certifications are mandatory.

Skills Requirements:

  1. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
  2. System Administration: Experience managing servers, databases, cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and enterprise applications.
  3. Cybersecurity Knowledge: Ability to ensure data protection, implement access controls, and manage security protocols.
  4. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong capacity to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues quickly.
  5. Project Management: Ability to support or manage IT projects, upgrades, and system implementations.
  6. Communication Skills: Capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and working collaboratively across departments.
  7. Adaptability: Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Teamwork & Leadership: Experience in guiding junior IT staff or working in cross-functional teams.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
