Job Position: IT / Social Media Officer

Job Description
The IT / Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s social media presence, website backend, and IT infrastructure.
This role requires a blend of technical skills and marketing savvy to ensure the company’s online presence is engaging, effective, secure, and well-maintained.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, and writen) across all platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting and performance analysis.
- Analyse and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights.
Website Backend Management:
- Manage and maintain the backend of the company website(s), including content updates, and ensure smooth functionality.
- Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
- Monitor website analytics and performance, making necessary adjustments.
- Ensure website security and data integrity.
IT Management:
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient operation.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including data backup and recovery systems.
- Manage IT budgets and vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 – 4 years in social media management, website backend management, and IT administration.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and advertising.
- Solid knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
