Job Position: IT Support
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform in strict compliance with all IT troubleshooting and support tasks according to HQ region/global standard and security policy
  2. Perform a single point of contact for business into IT for all kinds of issues, requests, and enhancements. Attain ownership of every item and keep the business informed for the entire lifetime of the incident or request. This involves providing information about outages or known errors to users and management.
  3. Provide first-level field support for infrastructure and application issues during agreed business hours. Record all incidents in English with the BSS standard problem management tool.
  4. Perform all hardware and software installations within the HQ region/global standard, and security policies
  5. Execute Hardware Problem Management for all kinds of second and third-level hardware support in case of incidents and problems.
  6. Perform Software distribution for all BSS authorised packages ready for the area.
  7. Perform Printer Server support and Print Queue Operating.
  8. Execute asset receipt for IT equipment by checking the quantity and correctness of the corresponding data, like user and location, for proper documentation
  9. Perform control and maintenance of asset data and the provision of released standard asset reports to support IT services and to inform the customers.
  10. Track the lifecycle of IT equipment and ensure timely upgrades and replacements.
  11. Perform user administration services such as user account, password reset and providing access for all infrastructure-related access to local systems like file server, emails, according to company standards, data and security policies.

Requirements

  1. BSc/HND in Computer Science or related disciplines and a minimum of 3 years of IT experience, especially in service delivery organisations.
  2. Technical knowledge and skills on Microsoft 36,5, such as SharePoint and Teams.
  3. High service-oriented mindset and able to get into the customer’s view. Competence to break barriers and de-escalate in critical situations; bring parties together and drive for success.
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure and software systems.
  5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Server and PC Desktop applications such as Outlook, OneDrive.
