Job Position: IT Support Specialist

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities
User Support:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  2. Respond to requests for assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  2. Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity.

Software Installation and Maintenance:

  1. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  2. Ensure all software licensing agreements are adhered to.

Hardware Maintenance:

  1. Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  2. Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.
  3. Coordinate and manage the POS activities for the field staff.

Security Compliance:

  1. Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
  2. Conduct regular security audits and updates.

Network Support:

  1. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  2. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

Documentation:

  1. Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
  2. Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.

Remote Support:

  1. Provide remote support for off-site employees and satellite offices.
  2. Utilize remote desktop tools for efficient issue resolution.

Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to resolve complex issues.
  2. Share knowledge and best practices with the IT team.

IT Project Support:

  1. Assist in the implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts.
  2. Ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Customer Service:

  1. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
  2. Provide IT support in a professional and courteous manner.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2-5 years experience.
  2. Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  4. Knowledge of Social media management and graphics design
  5. Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  6. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N70,000 – N100,000 / Month.
