Job Summary
As a Junior Account Manager in Lagos, you will grow designated main accounts by increasing revenue and profitability, sustaining customer relationships, monitoring market activity, and ensuring compliant delivery from scale-up to production while meeting Measurements and resolving issues.
You will report to the Country Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Under guidance, grow the Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing the top and bottom lines
- Manage customer relationships within the portfolio of accounts
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
- Track Account Plans for important accounts
- Develop and deliver internal and customer presentations
- Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
- Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submissions
- Transition customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production
- Follow Measurements versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit, win rate…) and take corrective actions if necessary
- Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines
- Manage credit, pricing, rebates and budget for main accounts
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory EHS and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- University degree (or equivalent)
- 4-7 years of overall experience
- 1+ years’ functional/technical experience in the industry
- Verbal and written command of English
- Competence in developing and delivering compelling presentations
- Passion for the Fragrance Industry
- Develop relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers.
