Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Cost Analyst to join our construction team.
- The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing project costs, tracking expenditures, and helping ensure that all financial aspects of construction projects stay within budget.
- This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting within the construction industry.
- You will collaborate with project managers, accountants, and procurement teams to support the financial efficiency and success of ongoing projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for real estate development projects
- Analyze project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost accuracy
- Support the financial team in monitoring and reporting project costs
- Collaborate with project managers to review financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare regular cost reports and updates for senior management.
- Assist in evaluating bids from contractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Conduct market research to ensure up-to-date knowledge of materials and labor costs in the real estate industry.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus.
