Job Position: Junior Design Associate
Location: Jibowu / Yaba – Lagos

Job Summary

The Junior Design Associate at Detail and Avedia will support the creative team in producing high-quality visual content that reflects the agency’s storytelling standards and client objectives.

The role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail.

You will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and other team members to bring ideas to life across digital and print platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and refine visual designs for social media, brand campaigns, websites, and other communication materials.
  2. Collaborate with the Creative and Strategy teams to translate concepts into compelling visuals.
  3. Ensure design consistency across all materials in line with client brand guidelines.
  4. Edit and adapt creative assets for multiple formats and platforms.
  5. Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to contribute fresh design perspectives.
  6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  7. Maintain organised design files and brand asset libraries.
  8. Stay updated with design trends, tools, and emerging creative practices.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of professional design experience, preferably in a creative agency or related environment.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
  4. Strong understanding of layout, colour theory, and typography.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to take feedback constructively and refine work accordingly.
  7. A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
