Job Position: Junior Front-End Developer

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract,  Project-Based
Duration: 6 months

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using Remix (React Router), TypeScript, and modern front-end practices.
  2. Build responsive UIs using Tailwind CSS.
  3. Integrate and consume REST APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
  4. Work with Google Maps API and other third-party services where needed.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, product managers) to bring product features to life.
  6. Ensure applications are optimised for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
  7. Maintain clean, version-controlled codebases using Git/GitHub.
  8. Write reusable, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years of work experience.
  2. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  3. Hands-on experience with Remix JS and the React ecosystem.
  4. Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for building modern, responsive layouts.
  5. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews).
  6. Experience integrating APIs such as the Google Maps API.
  7. Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
  8. Basic knowledge of state management (React Query, Zustand, and Context API).
  9. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and deployment tools is a plus.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
