Job Description

  • As a Senior Key Associate within our Key Merchant Business, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing our relationships with big businesses/companies. Your focus will be on enhancing revenue streams, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving growth opportunities for our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Key Account Management: Take charge of a portfolio of key merchant accounts, maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategies aimed at expanding our merchant base, increasing revenue, and maximizing profitability.
  3. Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements with key merchants, ensuring terms are favourable while aligning with company objectives.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to align strategies, address merchant needs, and drive initiatives that improve merchant satisfaction and retention.
  5. Analysis and Reporting: Conduct regular performance analysis of key accounts, prepare reports, and present insights to management, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  6. Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for issue resolution, handling escalations, and ensuring timely and effective solutions for key merchant concerns.

Job Requirements

  1. Experience: 3-4 years of experience in key account management, preferably within merchant services in the payment industry or related industry, with a demonstrable track record of success.
  2. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels within client organizations.
  3. Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to think strategically, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable plans that drive business growth.
  4. Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiation tactics, contract management, and a proven ability to achieve win-win outcomes.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
