Job Position: Laravel Developer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain APIs using Laravel framework
  2. Design and implement secure and efficient database structures
  3. Integrate with various payment gateways and biller APIs
  4. Implement robust security practices to protect user data and financial transactions
  5. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  6. Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver features on time
  7. Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building backend applications with Laravel
  • Proven experience building backend applications with Laravel
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles (OOP)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with API development and integration
  • Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for building innovative and user-friendly applications.

Bonus Points:

  1. Experience with building financial technology (fintech) applications
  2. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  3. Experience with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit).
