Job Position: Learning and Development Officer

Job Location: Abeokuta / Sagamu / Ijebu-Ode, Ogun

Job Description

  • This is a role where you will report directly to a People Excellence Analyst. In this capacity, you will be responsible for determining the learning needs of operation staff and implementing the training from the needs assessments.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Implement routine performance audits across Altara’s business units
  2. Determine the learning needs of operations staff by implementing training needs assessments (TNA) for the core operations units as required
  3. To design needed training and other learning projects with the performance objectives in mind
  4. Execute/facilitate needed training and other learning projects
  5. Supervising and monitoring progress made through training implemented
  6. Evaluating training outcomes
  7. Perform other tasks as assigned by the People Excellence Analyst

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in related discipline
  2. At least a year of experience in training and development
  3. Proven experience in training and development.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  5. Great attention to details
  6. Ability to think through business performance issues critically and analytically
  7. Commitment to process improvement.
  8. Great at time management, multitasking, and prioritizations skills.
  9. Great problem-solving skills
  10. Professional certification is an added advantage
  11. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  12. Effective Organizational skills
  13. Ability to receive, process, and communicate ideas and feedback effectively
  14. Ability to facilitate training and other learning experience.
