Job Position: Logistic Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including selecting carriers, researching transportation methods, assessing budgets, and organizing storage.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.
  2. Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
  3. Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
  4. Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process transportation,
  5. Responding to any issues or complaints.
  6. Researching ideal techniques, routing, and carriers.
  7. Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  8. Evaluating budgets and expenditures.
  9. Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant fields
  2. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
  4. Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  5. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
