Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated Logistics Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base in the logistics sector.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development or enterprise sales, specifically in logistics or supply chain management.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Track sales performance metrics and report on progress against goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes impacting the logistics sector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Salary
N500,000 – N800,000 / month.
