Job Position: Logistics Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Prepare shipping documents (like invoices and dispatch waybill)
- Coordinate our supply chain procedures in the warehouse to maximize the quality of delivery
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers, and customers
- Support the warehouse manager who oversees the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed.
- Provide information to customers about the status of their orders
- Ensure customers receive their products in a timely manner and in good condition
- Sort out goods damaged in transit and inform responsible people on returns.
- Ensuring timely receipt and posting of proof of delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.
Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements
- A Degree with three (3) years experience in data mining, analysis and reporting, Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning, warehouse management), and Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (Navision).
