Job Position: Machine Operator

Job Location: Isheri, Ogun

Job Description

  • The Machine Operator oversees the production process to ensure the delivery of top-quality finished products.
  • The role includes operating machinery, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to quality and food safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform autonomous maintenance tasks on assigned machines to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Follow operational procedures to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and FSSC 22000 standards.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and quality requirements, including personal hygiene policies.
  • Pay close attention to detail during the production process to maintain product quality.
  • Follow instructions provided by the Production Supervisor to achieve production targets.
  • Record and report any malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Trade Test 1, 2, or 3 certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Cosmetics and Personal care Industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Basic understanding of Quality and Food Safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with QMS and FSSC 22000 standards, including departmental operational procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
  • HMO
  • 13th month
  • Pension.
