Job Position: Maintenance Diagnostics Expert
Location: Orile Coker, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Perform electronic diagnostics on buses, trucks, and other fleet vehicles using standard tools/software.
  2. Interpret diagnostic results and generate reports for the maintenance and technical teams.
  3. Maintain accurate records of vehicle diagnostics, repair, recommendations, and fault logs.
  4. Support the export or transmission of diagnostic data to relevant departments or vendors.
  5. Ensure all diagnostic equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  6. Work closely with maintenance supervisors to schedule timely repairs.
  7. Track trends in vehicle faults and suggest preventive maintenance strategies
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and documentation requirements for vehicle inspections.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle diagnostics, preferably with a large fleet.
  3. Proficient in using diagnostic tools like Launch, Bosch, Autel, etc.
  4. Good knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
  5. Strong documentation, analysis, and reporting skills.
  6. Familiarity with export documentation or transmission of vehicle-related data is an advantage.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
