Job Position: Maintenance Technicians

Locations: Lagos and Ebonyi

Job Objective

  • Eliminate / Reduce equipment, and HVAC downtime in Chicken Republic restaurants as assigned. Quick response to maintenance issues by the Restaurant Manager as set in the process manual

Key Responsibilities

  1. Servicing &maintenance of Power plant (Generators 250kva and above)
  2. Maintenance of pumps
  3. Ensure  relatively uninterrupted power supply in the depot
  4. Maintenance and repairs of depot equipment and fittings
  5. Rectification of electrical faults
  6. Installation and servicing of air conditioners and other equipment as assigned
  7. Plan and co-ordinate electrical repairs on machines and other equipment
  8. Provide information on electrical spare parts
  9. A daily log of operations and activities of the department
  10. Keeping depot fuel consumption records
  11. Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
  12. Responsible for all maintenance and facility operations in the food and beverage factory
  13. Established a preventative maintenance program in both plants and restaurants
  14. Reduced down times 5%,
  15. Responsible for a fleet of cars and other logistic equipment.
  16. Responsible for the management of the operation including supervision, purchasing and performing required Engineering

Educational Qualifications / Experience

  • Candidates should possess a University Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience

Skills, Competencies and Requirements:

  1. Control Costs ( hours, materials, services)
  2. knowledge on Preventive maintenance and apply the tools to a maintenance routine
  3. Knowledge of Predictive maintenance and experience in implementation
  4. Downtime controls, analysis and corrective action
  5. Strong fundamentals on team working
  6. Computers skills (spreadsheets excel, word, Autocad)
  7. Experience with conveyors (elevators, belts, screws)
  8. Experience with the continuous production process
  9. Thermodynamics and mechanical knowledge
  10. Refrigeration and Boiler experience desirable
  11. Experience building reports controlling costs, downtime etc
  12. Safety knowledge
  13. Sanitary process knowledge is desirable
