Job Position: Business and Management Consultant

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Management consultants help organisations to solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance. They use their business skills to provide objective advice and expertise and help an organisation to develop any specialist skills that it may be lacking.
  2. Carry out research and data collection to understand the organisation
  3. Conduct analysis
  4. Grow customer base and proffer solutions to clients based on needs identified
  5. Interview the client’s employees, management team and other stakeholders with a view to understanding their needs
  6. Conduct and facilitate training sessions
  7. Develop training modules and content based on client’s needs
  8. Run focus groups and facilitate workshops
  9. Prepare business proposals and presentations
  10. Identify issues and form hypotheses and solutions
  11. Present findings and recommendations to clients
  12. Implement recommendations or solutions and ensure the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out
  13. Manage projects and programmes
  14. Lead and manage those within the team, including analysts
  15. Liaise with the client to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Numerate discipline, Humanities or Social Sciences.
  2. Higher Degree is an added advantage
  3. Minimum of five years cognate experience

  21. The ability to analyse sales figures and write reports
  22. Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch
  23. The ability to speak a foreign language may be an asset if you’re dealing with overseas clients.
