Job Position: Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Our client is looking to hire a female Manager with (advanced accounting knowledge) who will be responsible for managing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the company’s operations.
  2. She is required to perform administrative duties, organize subordinates’ schedules, monitor and evaluates subordinates’ performances, and lead team members.
  3. The Successful candidate will collaborate and develop improvement plans, monitor progress, and delegate assignments.
  4. The role is a remote-type role and requires the employee to work from home.
  5. The work will require a lot of computer time, therefore, interested candidates are expected to have personal computers, unlimited internet access, and an unlimited source of power supply (e.g. generator).

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Managing project teams to develop, execute and complete assignments
  2. Organizing team roles and evaluating employee performance
  3. Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
  4. Performing employee reviews and assessments
  5. Assist with new employee onboarding and training program.

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related disciplines.
  2. Professional accounting qualification ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.
  3. A hands-on, operationally oriented, and value-added approach to operations
  4. Strong leadership and project management skills
  5. Advanced knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Keeps apprised of new or amendments to legislation and regulatory requirements.
  6. Knowledgeable of technical trends in the industry
  7. Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
  8. Ability to manage multiple engagements and constantly meet deadlines
  9. Knowledge of risk and process management
  10. Must have integrity within a professional environment.
