Job Description

  1. The Managing Director will have the primary responsibility of supervising all operational aspects of our organization, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring the provision of top-notch services to our clients.
  2. This position necessitates a strong combination of leadership, strategic thinking, financial expertise, and exceptional communication abilities.

Job Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:

  1. Clearly articulate the overall direction for the Company, establish strategic objectives, and drive growth.
  2. Align the Company’s strategies and targets with its vision, mission, and values to support the fulfillment of strategic requirements.
  3. Effectively communicate the Company’s vision, values, strategic priorities, and plans to influence stakeholders and foster commitment.
  4. Identify and assess business opportunities to determine their viability.
  5. Develop strategies and plans to achieve growth and financial profitability.
  6. Provide effective leadership, foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Operational Management:

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  2. Define key metrics and targets for measuring business performance.
  3. Monitor industry, national, and global developments, trends, and events to maintain and enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
  4. Drive the development of annual operating plans, including operational requirements, staffing, and budgets aligned with the strategic plan.
  5. Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and support the governance framework.
  6. Align risk management strategies with the Company’s strategic objectives.
  7. Provide strategic oversight for continuous improvement initiatives in processes, systems, and goal setting.
  8. Define and lead organizational change to achieve desired strategic outcomes.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Foster and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client needs and preferences and develop strategies to enhance client experience.
  3. Identify opportunities to expand the Company’s client base and develop strategies to attract and retain clients.
  4. Establish and maintain networks and relationships with strategic partners to support the Company’s strategies and objectives.
  5. Guide the development of operational plans to achieve customer loyalty and retention strategies.

Financial Management:

  1. Oversee the Company’s fiscal activities, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  2. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and effectively manage costs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Drive partnerships with other companies within and outside the Ecosystem.
  2. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, industry associations, and professional networks, to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  3. Act as an effective Board member and foster positive relationships with the Board to meet the Company’s needs.
  4. Represent and promote the Company at key strategic forums.

Others:

  1. Oversee the development of succession management strategies in consultation with the human resources function and other relevant personnel to facilitate succession planning.
  2. Promote engagement strategies to improve performance.
  3. Oversee the development of business continuity strategies, policies, and guidelines, aligning them with business strategies.
  4. Anticipate the impact of changes in regulations, policies, and procedures.
  5. Foster a culture of productivity and innovation within the Company

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  2. Advanced degree in Finance or Business Management (e.g. MBA, M.Sc Finance e.t.c)
  3. Professional certifications in finance and/or accounting from a recognized professional body (e.g. CFA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAN e.t.c)
  4. Minimum of 15 years of work experience in financial services, with at least 5 years proven experience in a managerial position
  5. Experience with audit, legal compliance, and budget development
  6. Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
  7. A high level of business awareness and acumen
  8. Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
  9. Excellent Leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Salary
N1,650,000 Monthly.
