Job Description
We’re looking for a Marketing Communications & Event Partnership Specialist with strong marketing experience, excellent communication, storytelling, social media, and writing skills — someone who can manage partnerships, secure event opportunities, and create engaging content that amplifies visibility across media, social platforms, and newsletters.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and manage partnerships with event organisers, brands, and stakeholders.
- Identify and secure relevant event opportunities and collaborations.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend events to ensure effective coverage.
- Write event summaries, reports, and newsletter content.
- Ensure events are featured in newspapers, blogs, and across social media.
- Capture photo and video highlights (basic video recording/editing is a plus).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to boost visibility and brand awareness.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years of experience in marketing communications, event planning, or partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong reporting and storytelling ability.
- Proven social media and content creation skills.
- Newsletter management and basic video skills (bonus).
- Creative, organised, and confident in relationship building.
- Experience in the agriculture industry is a strong advantage (A+).
- Must be proactive in identifying and securing partnership or event opportunities.
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 monthly (based on experience).
