Job Position: Medical Marketing Manager

Job Locations: Enugu and Kano

Job Description

  1. We are seeking to employ a Medical Sales Representative who will be responsible for promotion, detailing, and marketing their brands to relevant medical establishments, HCPs, medical professionals, and pharmaceutical professionals to generate demand and achieve sales targets for respective Brands.
  2. He will be responsible for ensuring the availability of the brands at all key trade channel partners, Distributors, Wholesalers, and Retail pharmacies.
  3. The candidate must have a strong performance aptitude and passion for pharma marketing and sales.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Achieve sales & collection targets, through trade and institutional segments!
  2. Generate Demand: Visiting & Meeting HCPs/Medical/Para-medical professionals, detailing & presenting brands to Institutional customers for availability, sales, prescription generation, and recommendations.
  3. Execute Marketing & Brand Promotional activities & Sales/trade promotional activities!
  4. Enhance Brand Visibility & shelf availability at each & every outlet.
  5. Organize, conduct, and/or Attend CMEs, and brand/product presentation to medical and para-medical professionals at key institutions and HCP associations.
  6. Organize, and conduct brand/product awareness presentations to local trade channel associations like Community pharmacist forums.
  7. Build & manage key customer accounts on both trade channel and institutional segments
  8. Update & maintain every customer’s records like prescribers , competitors etc.
  9. Market intelligence, update promptly competitive activities, new launches, price revision etc.
  10. Reports & Feedback: Daily and periodic feedback & reporting as company norms

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm/D. Pharm) or Science (Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology,) but not mandatory.
  2. Must have 1-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & marketing
  3. Possess strong persuasive & relationship-building skills, Excellent Verbal Communication & Presentation skills!
  4. Self-motivated, task & target oriented.
