Job Title: Africa Marketing Manager

Job Description

  2. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives in Africa focused on driving awareness of our solutions and generating leads.
  3. As one of the critical roles to influence the growth of the business in Africa, the YNV Tech Talent Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and building marketing campaigns for the business that generate awareness and drive activity for the sales teams.
  4. Working across our YNV Tech Talent brands including Tek Experts, elev8 and Talentwize, you will partner with the global marketing, business development and sales teams to build and deliver compelling marketing campaigns that drive interest in our offerings.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategy for Africa in alignment with sales team targets.
  2. Create, execute, and manage campaigns designed to generate leads and pipeline for YNV Tech Talent offerings.
  3. Develop and execute marketing plans to increase awareness, consideration, and generate qualified leads through digital, live and virtual events, advertising, and build thought leadership positioning in partnership with public relations agency.
  4. Utilize targeting, customer segmentation, and buyer’s journey to architect innovative multi-channel engagement programs.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the local competitive environment and trends to ensure plans and activity are relevant to the market and the needs of the business.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with company objectives.
  7. Develop and manage Africa marketing budget.
  8. Direct copywriters and author copy for website pages, blog posts, emails, and other assets.
  9. Measure and report on impact of marketing campaigns and recommendation optimization of campaigns based on learnings.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Creative, passionate mindset with drive to innovation and constant learning in marketing and communications.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and ecosystem.
  • Experience managing online marketing programs across B2B environments, including events, sponsored content, social media, email marketing, etc.
  • Proven record of developing compelling, data-driven storytelling with a customer focus to drive consideration.
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, including digital, content marketing, events and public relations.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing geographically distributed stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
