Job Position: Senior Marketing Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Senior Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales and marketing strategies, building strong client relationships, and enhancing our brand presence in the market.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Generate direct sales channels with brands, customers, and B2B.
  2. Revenue Generation
  3. Procurement of Barter Arrangements for News Central TV
  4. Client engagement and Management
  5. Collaborating with other departments within the Organization
  6. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  7. Liaising with Media Agencies to procure campaigns for the television station
  8. Market rate cards for all regions and ensure each market applies them.
  9. Identify strategic partners that will create awareness, help build the News Central brand, close the deals and reduce operational expenses for the company through barter or discounted arrangements.
  10. Search for advertising or sponsorship opportunities for the station and ensure that the brand fits with listeners or the style of different shows.
  11. Day-to-day contact via phone and email with key agency contacts.
  12. Weekly WIP meetings with crucial agency contacts.
  13. Ensure the correct advertising material is delivered to the station in time for campaigns.
  14. Accommodate and prioritize several concurrent advertising campaigns.
  15. Problem-solving within the context of the job.
  16. Follow up with the client to ensure payment is made based on the agreement
  17. Build and maintain a database of key contacts across media and potential client sectors.
