Job Position: Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Job Description

  • Responsible for designing, installing, testing and maintaining production equipment and systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring safety and efficiency of the production staff.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Effecting the routine check up on all equipment for preventive/breakdown maintenance
  2. Overseeing maintenance and operation procedures for the complete manufacturing process and auxiliary services necessary for production.
  3. Planning and organizing maintenance schedules.
  4. Input of proper setting on control panels of production equipment.
  5. Maintaining quality control standards for production
  6. Preparation and indenting of material needed for production
  7. Planning of monthly/annual preventive maintenance for all machinery and equipment
  8. Ensure adherence to health and safety policies/procedures
  9. Identify, document, and report unsafe practices.

Job Requirements

  1. B.Sc or in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience work experience in an FMCG company, especially chemicals and paints
  3. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality control, and validation methods
  4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
