Job Description

  • Responsible for performing various duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment’s for both production and utility to support the achievement of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for ensuring that the duties are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
  2. Performs preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on all equipment in the plant.
  3. Performs basic troubleshooting on mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  4. Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts; bearings, belt, gear boxes, rollers, pneumatic fittings.
  5. Repair and Maintain Machinery: roller mill, hammer mill, geared motor, centrifuges.
  6. Devise maintenance plan to forestall trouble shooting.
  7. Keep record of all daily maintenance downtime and maintain proper record of maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree, or M.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Industrial Machine Installation, Repairs, and Maintenance in FMGC.
  • Good Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Good Knowledge of Maintenance and Vertical Forming and Filing Machine (VFF packaging machine).
  • Ability to read Schematics Diagrams, Blueprints and other technical documents.

Key Skills Required:

  1. Experienced in equipment repairs and maintenance.
  2. Planning, Scheduling, Controlling & Coordinating.
  3. Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow up skills.
  4. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
  5. Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, Carpentry skills.
  6. Proficiency in SAP.
