Job Position: Mechanical Technician

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Control Valves:

  • Dismantling from position and installing at position — client scope

BEAMCO Scope:

  1. Check for friction sticking, flashing. cavitation. choked flow. acoustic noise. erosion. and chemical corrosion in the Workshop.
  2. Remove all electrical and pneumatic connections to the control Valve including positioner.
  3. Dismantle the control Valve bonnet top flange along With actuator yoke,
  4. inspect the valve internals and service the valve.

DCI Reports issuing:

  1. Replace the damaged parts with OEM Spares.
  2. all electrical and pneumatic Connections to the Control valve including the positioner.
  3. Test the functionality Of the System.
  4. Final Reports issuing
  5. Handover to client

Inspection and Visual Examination:

  1. Inspect the PSV tor signs ot damage. corrosion. or wear.
  2. Check tor proper labelling and documentation. including the PSV’s Set pressure.

Functional Testing:

  1. perform functional tests to ensure the PSV opens Ot the Correct Set pressure using test bench or controlled system.
  2. Verity that the PSV fully opens and Closes without sticking Or chattering.
  3. Overhaul and Repair;
  4. Disassembling. cleaning. and inspecting internal components.
  5. DCI reports issuing
  6. Replace worn or damaged parts as needed. including seals. springs, and discs with OEM parts
  7. Calibration and Adjustment;
  8. Calibrate the PSV to ensure it opens at the specified Set pressure. Adjust if
  9. Ensure that the PSV remains Within its allowable tolerance range.
  10. Final Reports issuing
