Job Position: Medical Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

  1. This role is responsible for applying medical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, disease prevention and treatment of patients
  2. The position will reports to Care Coordinators, Consultants in charge and Medical Directors.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and provide general and follow up care to patients at designated work stations.
  2. Liaise with consultants and specialists on patients’ medical condition
  3. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patients’ encounters.
  4. Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances
  5. Provide health education and support to patients and their attendants
  6. Liaise and work with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality care is given to patients
  7. Maintain confidentiality and impartiality
  8. Comply with the use of Standard Operating Procedures and policies/adherence to quality standards and clinical practice guidelines.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree (MBBS) in Medical / Clinical field
  2. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
  3. Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, with a valid medical practicing license.

  1. Basic Life Support skills and sound medical knowledge
  2. Excellent documentation skills with IT skills required for the use of EMR and Microsoft Office packages.
  3. Organizational, reporting and presentation skills.
  4. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Attention to Details and Emotional Intelligence.
  6. Ability to work under pressure
  7. Diligent and responsible
  8. Honest and reliable.
